The following set of instruction will give you guided instructions on how to setup Teamviewer 6 on your server for MAC  based operating systems.

Step 1  : Please click on the following link to download Teamviewer  :

 http://sohnar.com/mac_full.dmg

Step 2  : You should see the following dialog box please select Save and OK,this dialog box varies depending on your browser.

 

 

 

Step 3  : Once the download has finished please double-click on the downloaded file.

 

Step 4  : On your desktop you should see the following icon please double click it:

 

Step 5  : You should be presented with the pop-up please double click on TeamViewer.pkg

 

Step 6  : You should be presented with following below please press Continue

 

Step 7  : You will be presented with the following "Welcome to the Teamviewer Installer" below, press Continue

 

Step 8  : Press Continue on the "Software License Agreement" :

 

Step 9  : Press "Agree" on your machine when you see the box below :

 

 

Step 10  : Make Sure "Install" is ticked and press Continue

 

Step 11  : Select "Macintosh HD" and Press "Continue"

 

Step 12  :Press "Install" when you see the following box

 

Step 13  : Please specify your usual Name and Password in which use to login as admin on your machine:

 

Step 14  : Under the "Setup unattended access" please select "Yes" :

 

Step 15  : Please specify a password for Teamviewer please note this down as you will need provide it to us as soon as the installation is over.

Please make sure you choose a good password.

- Must be at least 8 Characters

- Include at least one Capital letter

- Include one special character such as $,%

PLEASE REMEMBER TO TAKE A NOTE OF THIS PASSWORD AS YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE IT TO US.

Once you have chosen a password please re-type it in under confirm password and then press Continue

 

Step 16  : Once Installation is complete you should see the following saying "The installation was sucessful"

Please press Close.

 

Step 17  : You Should now see Teamviewer under your Doc with the following Icon. If you don't please go to Applications > Teamviewer 6 > TeamViewer.app :

 

 

Step 18 : Press Control and then Click on the icon , Select Options> and Click on Keep in Dock.

Repeat this step for "Open at Login" which is the next option under keep in dock

make sure both options are ticked as shown bellow

 

Step 19 : If Teamviewer didn't open after the installation . Please open it by clicking on the icon on the dock

 

 

 

Step 20 : Please provide us with the ID you see as  above and the password YOU ORIGINALLY SPECIFIED during the installation.

 

Finally you can move the downloaded Teamviewer file to your Trash as shown below:
