This is a feature of Filemaker not Traffic, but it's very useful in cases where you have already done one search and now wish to search within the found set only.
For example, we have done a specific company search and want to see all the staff listed, and then do a further search for people with a certain job role only in this set.
1. Do the normal show staff from found companies search to bring the people records on screen.
2. With these records on view, go back into advanced find mode and add in the extra search filter (for example you now wish to narrow the found people records down to just 'marketing', so type this into the job title field.
3. Do not press the enter key yet. Instead, look at the top toolbar where an option called 'requests' is showing.
it only appears while Filemaker is in find mode.
4. Click on 'requests' and choose the option 'Constrain Found Set'. This will limit your new search to just the current found set.
5. The new results will now be displayed on the screen.
